Heh... fun tip, old full-sized cars, like the '79 Lincoln Mark V I had as a hand-me-down first car, often have vacuum released parking brakes. If they're working properly (and by that I mean the vacuum system too), that basically means it's never locked while you're moving. It's literally a rear brake pedal at that point, no hands.
